Ann Borger
Communication
Ann Work Borger writes fiction, poetry and PC procedures. In her 25-year career as an office systems analyst, she wrote technical design, instructional and survey documents for all levels of academic, corporate, and government clients. She has been a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group since 1996.
Articles
Ann has written articles for Pennsylvania Magazine and The Morning Call. As communication committee chair for the Coalition for a Smoke-Free Valley, she wrote quarterly newsletter articles: for example, “Can’t Kick the Habit”. Her first and only computer manual (University of Maryland Press, 1973) sold out three printings before becoming obsolete.

Mrs. Borger speaks to local groups on mid-life creativity and self-expression. She has taught computer courses at Air Products, Muhlenberg College and the Lehigh County Senior Center (LCSC). She has read her poems at Barnes & Noble, the Moravian Museum, Touchstone Theatre and on the Reading PBS program, “Poet’s Pause.”
Poetry
Ann is an award-winning poet. Her poems have been published in Feelings, Lehigh Valley Woman, and Writer’s Digest, and online at perigee-art.com. She has won awards from GLVWG, the Upper Bucks Council of the Arts, and the Pennsylvania Poetry Society. Her first chapbook, Sailing into Sunset, is now available from Buy Books on the Web.
