Office 2007 tip
The ribbon of function buttons at the top of a Word 2007 document occupies a lot of overhead. To collapse the ribbon to the width of a menu bar, double-click any top tab. Click on a category to expand the ribbon and select a function. Double-click any category to keep the ribbon visible as you continue to work. The same technique also works for Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
